The Daemonslayer is a physically resilient class with the capability to generate Metal and summon Daemons. The Daemonslayer's primary focus is on its unique ability to deal extra damage to the Daemon race.

The Daemonslayer is pretty much as good as it looks on paper. A useless primary ability to kill one out of sixteen races paired with a multitude of abilities that really don't go well together unless under extreme circumstances. That said, there are a couple of options that can save the Daemonslayer's beef, both of which revolving around synergistic access to Summoning.
The primary pair to make with the Daemonslayer is with the Plaguelords. The Daemonslayer just about ticks all the right boxes needed to make the combo effective. Synergistic access to Summoning is just the start of the Plaguelord Daemonslayer. The physical toughness of the class makes Leech a very viable option. This combined with racial access to mana regeneration boosting research means floods of Daemons may be let loose should the Daemonslayer get away with his/her life in a combat situation.
- A Daemonslayer that isn't focused entirely on toughness/spellcasting can mean that they are not very effective at spellcasting/fighting respectively.
- Missile units can effectively counter a Daemonslayer as he/she cannot abuse Leech, especially if the Daemonslayer has little mana at the time.
